Hi, my name is Matt and I live in a small village in rural Derbyshire. I am married and have two children who take up most of my time! I enjoy sports, socialising and travel.

I have been a Maths teacher for 22 years. Most recently I have taught Edexcel IGCSE, A Level (Pure, Mechanics and Stats) and Further Maths A Level (Pure). I have also taught and tutored pupils through the IB, GCSE (OCR and AQA) and SAT programmes.

I have taught briefly in the state sector (3 years), internationally in Dubai (3 years) and most recently 15 years at one of the UK's top private schools.

I take a personalised approach to tutoring, so we can work on the material you want to focus on, in the way you want to learn. I am happy to teach/re-teach content, trouble shoot problem areas, help you get ahead of content in the classroom, or prepare for exams. I have a bank of resources built over my teaching career to date and am also happy to work through past paper content too.
