Hi my name is Gursharn and I am a Primary school teacher in Leicester ! I am a fun loving person who loves to help children grow and learn to their best and more !

I have over 20 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum across a variety of schools in different cities, towns and even countries. This diverse experience has enabled me to develop a broad understanding of different educational settings and teaching approaches.

Throughout my career, I have taught children from Nursery to Year 6 and have a thorough knowledge of the curriculum and expectations for each year group. I understand that every child learns differently and am skilled at adapting my teaching to meet individual needs, helping pupils build confidence, make progress and achieve their full potential.

I also have extensive experience supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and a strong understanding of a wide range of learning styles. By tailoring my teaching approach to suit each child's strengths and needs, I ensure that every learner feels supported, engaged and able to succeed.

I am passionate about creating a positive and nurturing learning environment where children feel encouraged, motivated and successful. Whether a child needs additional support, greater challenge, or preparation for assessments and transitions, I provide personalised tuition designed to help them thrive.

My teaching style is warm, engaging and child-centred. I believe that children learn best when they enjoy the learning process, so I aim to make sessions fun, interactive and practical wherever possible. By using a variety of hands-on activities, real-life examples and creative approaches, I help children develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning. I build strong relationships with my pupils, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks and celebrating their achievements along the way.
