I am passionate about languages and love to travel and learn about new cultures. I aim to bring this joy for learning into my work as a tutor. I have a variety of interests including sports and the arts.

I have 25 years experience of teaching modern foreign languages in secondary education. Former head of languages in three outstanding schools. Fully conversant with GCSE and A level specifications and examination skills. I have also successfully tutored students across a range of abilities, including school and university students, adult learners and those just seeking to learn for pleasure.

I tailor my lessons to your needs and all my lessons are carefully planned to ensure you make maximum progress, building on previous knowledge and I strive to build your confidence in using language independently.
