Tutor Profile

Rian

Private Chemistry and Physics Tutor in Borehamwood

I’m a 26-year-old with a professional background in mechanical robotics engineering. Outside of teaching, I enjoy rock climbing, 3D modelling and printing, and playing board games. I’ve always enjoyed hobbies that require focus and a bit of patience, and I bring that same steady approach to helping my students build their confidence.

Teaching Experience

Alongside my engineering work, I have tutored students in Mathematics, Physics, and Piano. My goal was always to help students truly understand their subjects rather than just memorising formulas. I quickly identified where each student struggled and tailored my lessons to build their confidence. By creating a relaxed, supportive environment, I helped them make steady progress towards their goals.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that everyone can excel when they have the right support. My approach is all about building confidence at your own pace, turning overwhelming topics into clear, manageable building blocks. Whether you are aiming for top grades or simply looking to find your footing, I provide a calm, encouraging space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and build the skills you need to tackle any problem with ease. My goal is to help you turn those challenging topics into ones you feel truly comfortable with to make sure you feel fully prepared and confident for your exams.
