Hi! I am a research scientist with a PhD in Biomedical Nanoscience, and a passion for teaching and learning. Outside of education, I am an active poet and musician, and a keen endurance athlete.

I have 7+ years of teaching experience across almost 100 students, and have taught Mathematics, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Irish, and Spanish at all levels.

I also led an education technology startup focused on personalised teaching for several years, and am fascinated by the ways we as tutors can meet students where they are to accelerate their progress.

I have a highly understanding-driven approach to tutoring, while engaging students with real-world examples and applications. For mathematics and science, I aim to meet the student where they are, building up from fundamentals, ensuring a robust understanding of the subject matter. For languages, revealing patterns and building confidence in the language is key, enabling more fluid spoken and written communication.
