I am a 3rd year BSc Computer Science student to-be graduate awaiting results. At A-Level I studied Maths, Physics and Computer Science, and have diverse programming and technical experience. My hobbies include personal programming projects, physics-simulation games and working with computers.

Previously a tutor of three years as part of Widening Participation, which works with children who may struggle to achieve their best. Teaching GCSE higher and foundation Maths, working in groups of varying academic proficiencies at a selection of secondary schools. Also having independently tutored in Maths, Physics and Computer Science, oversaw and provided guidance for programming coursework. Coming from a STEM-based academic history, I am aware of the importance of integrity and accuracy for what matters most in understanding things thoroughly.

I believe tutoring should be student-centered, focused on making the topics that seem inaccessible well within reach for everyone who makes the effort to get there. Every person engages with the unknown differently, and independent reasoning should be reinforced with a rock-solid comprehension. Each person has their own strengths and weaknesses, and the best way to convey an explanation is by finding mutual understanding with every "what", "why" and "how" there is to ask.
