Hi, I am Kanav, a master's student in computer science at Imperial College London and graduated with First Class Honours in Computer science graduate from the The University of Manchester University. I completed my A-levels with excellent results obtaining an A* in Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry, and an A in Economics. Additionally, I achieved a grade 9 in all of my GCSEs. I have also participated in various mathematics competitions such as the Senior Maths Challenge. I was able to achieve a gold medal with a near-perfect score and received a merit in the Senior Kangaroo (2022). I have also qualified for the BMO (2023).

I have been teaching TMUA, Maths and Further Maths A-level for the past 4 years. I myself achieved a 7.5 in the TMUA. I have helped multiple students get into Imperial College London, Oxford and Cambridge. I have supported students at various stages in their journeys from the start to writing personal statements to preparing for interviews etc. Therefore, I believe I have the requisite experience to be able to deliver on the student's needs. I am fully prepared to hit the ground running with an intensive study plan. Furthermore, the request for a high volume of homework aligns directly with how I structure my teaching. I consistently provide extensive, custom-tailored problem sets and past-paper regimens between lessons to ensure students are continuously challenged and making maximum progress outside of our scheduled time. I can also help with any A-level troubles the student may have as I have helped many students move from grades B,C to A,A*.

My teaching approach is very flexible based upon your needs. I can provide assistance in solidifying and excelling in the fundamentals, as well as support with challenging questions towards the end of the paper. In our lessons we will do lots of things such as me explaining a topic, working through questions to give you lots of practice and a chance to clarify doubts, working through past papers and challenge questions to prepare you for anything the exam throws at you, I would also provide guidance on exam technique, revision techniques and how to deal with stress of it all.
