I am a graduate of Leeds Conservatoire, where I gained my Graduate Diploma in Jazz and Light Music. I am, however, mainly classical trained, though I am happy to teach most styles. I also have Grade 8 Violin and Grade 8 Theory of Music. I have taught privately for many years, and also in schools, for The Irish Arts Foundation from 2005-2010.

I am happy to teach both primary level and adult learners.

I have a fun and relaxed approach to teaching. I am also happy to teach the exam syllabus (both Trinity and ABRSM) Students can study whatever type of music they wish, classical/rock/pop etc, anything goes really! I also enjoy getting older people involved in music, particularly when they have perhaps thought themselves to be 'too old' to learn something new!
