Hi I am Natasha - I’m an experienced teacher, tutor and examiner with over 15 years of experience in education, specialising in Psychology, Sociology and English Language across GCSE, A Level and IB programmes. I am a UK trained and experienced teacher who now works fully online delivering high quality tutoring.

My teaching background includes working in British and international schools in the UK and Europe, including as Head of Psychology and as an IB Psychology teacher. I have also worked as an IB Psychology examiner and as an examiner for A Level and GCSE qualifications, giving me a detailed understanding of what examiners are looking for and, importantly, what separates a good answer from an excellent one.

I have been teaching now for 19 years! The first 8 years of my career were spent in a high achieving UK state school where I delivered GCSE and A Level Sociology and Psychology. I also began a successful program designed to boost students' literacy and enhance their exam performance across all subjects. I also undertook an MA in education to ensure my teaching was first class.

I then moved overseas, working at top British Schools in Romania, Thailand and Italy. During this time I set up my own business offering private teaching with clients across the world. My online clients now include UK Local Authorities, private students aiming for world class universities and home schooled athletes.

My tutoring is very much student-centred and tailored to the individual. I don’t believe in simply working through a textbook or giving students more worksheets. I focus on identifying exactly where a student is struggling, building the missing foundations and then giving them the tools to become more confident and independent. I build warm relationships with my students so they feel supported and empowered in their academic journey.

For exam subjects, I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, assessment objectives, essay structure, application, evaluation and understanding mark schemes. I teach students how to actually use their knowledge in an exam, rather than simply memorising content.
