10 years of tutoring experience with students from ages 4-19. I have taught students from a range of public to private schools, such as Henrietta Barnett, The Latymer School, St Helens, JFS School, and Queen Elizabeth Boys.
Currently tutoring for GCSE and A-Levels. Experienced with AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards for both GCSE, Further Maths GCSE & A-Levels Maths and Further Maths.
I assist students with becoming more confident in the areas where they lack confidence, through excessive practice of topic questions and past exam papers, addressing weaknesses and increasing confidence and ability.
I tailor my approach to each student based on their experience and level of knowledge of each topic.
Homework will be set at the end of each lesson to aid with their continuous learning. Most importantly, I am very patient in ensuring the student understands all the material they are required to learn.
Online tutoring: I provide the option of online tutoring once you are registered with me (You can split your lessons between face-to-face & online lessons depending on your preference). There is no requirement for a video connection from the student.

Elena is a very methodical tutor. She is fast-paced but thorough and follows an extensive teaching method. She is very prompt with setting weekly homework, marking and sending extensive feedback. Elena is very good. Logistics and days that she was available was the issue... shame she wasn't prepared to travel to a location closer to the student but I understand that she has other student lessons back to back that would make travelling difficult.
Elena has been a great tutor. My daughters confidence in her maths abilities was rock bottom. She is now envisaging doing maths A levels. From the very first lesson my daughter had with Elena, she beamed with an unseen before confidence and couldn't wait to go back! She even wanted to up her tuition days from 1 to 2! Elena has a calming demeanour which is great for my daughter who has SATs coming up and has never really understood maths. My daughter is eager to do her homework and talks all the way home about what she has learnt and how lovely Elena is! She is open to supporting parents and students alike and will focus on topics and areas she sees weaknesses in. Only week 4 but, the feedback reflects her abilities as a tutor. Highly recommended.
