Cambridge undergraduate (Natural Sciences) with availability for private tutoring in my university vacations. Before matriculating, I spent two gap years working in education. I have four A* A-Levels and twelve GCSEs, nine at grade 9.

Before matriculating, I was a secondary school TA, and I continue to work in this role around my studies. I've supported across the secondary curriculum, but my subject specialisms are biology, chemistry and maths. I have experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. Before working as a TA, I worked at a further education college as a maths intervention tutor. I also have experience privately tutoring up to A-Level.

I've also worked for a University of Cambridge STEM outreach programme tailored towards academically able pupils from maintained sector schools, providing advice around A-Level studies, UCAS applications and admissions interviews and examinations for competitive degree courses.

I've enjoyed my work in education over the past few years. Helping students to learn new concepts and approaches in science and maths is highly rewarding. I'm familiar with a wide range of methods and techniques in maths and sciences and enjoy tailoring sessions to meet the needs of individual learners. It's fundamental to have a good grasp of core concepts in both maths and science before moving on to more advanced topics, and this is what I base my sessions around.

I can also support tutees in writing applications for a range competitive university courses, as well as admissions exams and interview technique.
