Gill took the time to explain topics in an easy to understand way and was a great help in the lead up to my daughters A Level exams. My daughter has been working with Gill for the last two years in the run up to her A level Psychology exams, as this is her chosen career path and she really wanted to do well. We have been so impressed with Gill’s extensive knowledge and teaching experience. Having tutored for a number of years Gill was able to hone in on the important areas in the various topics. She guided my daughter through the techniques and methods for exams questions giving her confidence to answer them fully. Gill is an incredible tutor! My daughter got an E in the A-Level Psychology Mock but with Gill's incredible tuition managed to achieve a C as her final grade. There is no doubt that without Gill's tuition this would not have been possible. Not only was she an excellent tutor with tailor made resources but also get style helped my daughter build confidence in the subject. My daughter genuinely looked forward to her sessions with Gill which I think speaks not only to Gill's enjoyable teaching style but also the satisfaction my daughter got after each session. My daughter started working with Gill after the first 6 months of A Level. She was especially struggling with the maths elements of the course and was predicted a D. I would like to start my feedback with a sincere thanks to Gill . I was looking for a A level tutor for my son and found Gill in First Tutors. My son was finding A level Psychology hard and had low grades and needed help. We reached out to her and got an immediate response. She was clear and up front on what options she was comfortable in taking and fortunately it matched with what my son wanted. She assessed him first and worked patiently on improvement areas for about 6 months. Gill has been one of the best tutors I have ever had and I would 100% recommend her for students needing psychology help, in year 12 she helped raise my predicted grade from a D to and A and continued to teach me till my A-level.
