Teaching Experience
I'm a full-time Science and Maths tutor with over 15 years teaching experience. I have a 1st degree in Astrophysics and QTS. I taught in a grammar school for a number of years before deciding to tutor full-time. I have taught a wide ranges of students of varying ages and abilities
Tutoring Approach
I'm very calm, patient and perhaps a bit eccentric. I am very passionate about the subjects I teach. I thoroughly believe in a "little but often" approach so that newfound understanding is maintained. I have always been told I am able to quickly build a good rapport with my tutors. I feel this is important as students need to feel comfortable enough to ask questions and to make mistakes so that they can learn from them.

Richard is an excellent physics tutor. Our son was originally predicted a C, but with Richard’s support, guidance and encouragement, he achieved an A and secured his place on his preferred university course. Richard is the best science tutor, even he is specialised in Physics, he is super good for chemistry and biology as well as maths. My daughter said that it only took Richard 2 lessons to make her understand the topic that she couldn’t figure out for the whole term. Definitely recommend
