I'm a medical student at the University of Oxford with a strong interest in science and education. Having navigated competitive admissions myself, I understand both the academic challenges and the uncertainty that many students face when applying to medicine or preparing for important exams.

Alongside my studies, I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, intuitive explanations. Whether a student is aiming for top grades, or just looking to build confidence in a subject, I try to provide supportive tutoring tailored to their specific needs.

Throughout school and university, I have regularly supported peers and younger students with science and mathematics, helping them develop both subject knowledge and exam technique. The small-group tutorial system at oxford regularly requires breaking down complex ideas to my peers, and this has helped to further develop my teaching.

I also have first-hand experience of the medical school admissions process, including UCAT preparation, interviews, and academic selection, allowing me to offer practical advice based on recent experience rather than outdated guidance.

I aim to focus on understanding rather than memorisation. I believe students perform best when they understand the reasoning behind a concept, not just the final answer. Sessions are interactive and tailored to each student's strengths, weaknesses, and goals.

I place particular emphasis on building confidence, rounding out subject knowledge, and improving exam technique. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can make consistent progress.
