Hello, my name is Wasan and I am originally from Kurdistan but born and raised in London. I have nearly 10 years of higher education experience where I have engaged with, mentored and supported students accessing a degree course, academic writing, essay support and general university life enquiries. I have a Master's in Leadership in Education, a certified TEFOL teacher and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In my spare time I love to read (currently on a psychological thriller and domestic suspense mood), bake, travel (I have visited 21 countries) and work on my self-development.

I am new to teaching however I am certified teacher since November 2025. I hold a Master's in Leadership in Education, Level 7 Coaching and Mentoring certificate completed with Chartered Management Institute and I am a Senior Fellow. In addition, I have been working in a professional capacity with university students and have supported them with a number of university related coursework/activities/task.

My teaching style will be engaging, adaptable, clear and structured where I will bring patience, understanding and clarity. All materials will be adapted to the learners need.
