I am an experienced university law lecturer (retired 2022) who taught on the LLB at the University of Hertfordshire. I was highly commended for best law teacher in the student's union Stag award 2019. I taught A level law at a further education college.
I have tutored Degree and A level students privately for 18 years.
I have worked as a paralegal in practice and I have worked previously in industry and teaching/training roles.
I taught law for 14 years at the University of Hertfordshire on the LLB. I specialise in Employment Law, Family Law and Criminal Law. I have also taught on the GDL and the LLM. I tutor A level law having taught it at a local further education college. I teach AQA and OCR Law.
I have experience of one-to-one and classroom teaching both online and face to face. I have written and marked exams, coursework and dissertations at degree level and on the LLM, prepared and delivered lectures and created module materials. I have also set and marked A level papers.
I also have previous experience of teaching adult literacy and IT in a further education college.
I am an open, flexible and encouraging teacher who is good at motivating pupils and creating a happy and enjoyable teaching experience.
It is too soon to see if working with Ŕebecca has resulted in improved exam results. However, she has undoubtedly increased confidence, provided support and inspired my daughter to power through her A level Law exams, when she had previously reached a point of desperation. So, regardless of result, a massive thanks from us all for helping reset her mindset.

Rebecca marked some of my essays which I did for practice over summer. Her feedback is extensive and she always clarifies any quieries with marking and general questions in great detail.
Rebecca is amazing. My son was struggling with his law A level and about two weeks after starting with Rebecca his grades started to go up. More importantly he stopped being unhappy and anxious and started to enjoy the subject- which he’d been so stressed about he had tried to drop. He got an A* grade on his last test! Rebecca is working with my granddaughter Molly who finds her friendly, organised and is making her subject of law much more understandable. We will be working with Rebecca up till Mollys exams in the new year.
