Hi,

I am a UK qualified teacher with over 10 years experience. I love seeing my student make progress and working with students who are disenfranchised with education. I am a qualified Forest School leader, love being outside and reading in my hammock!

I have been a Head of Maths, SENCo and Deputy Head. I teach Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I have worked in different settings and different qualification pathways including adult learners, functional skills, IGCSE and home schooling. Teaching is my vocation and I enjoy learning with my students, normalising mistakes and boosting their confidence. I work with students who have maths/school anxiety, ADHD, ASD, AuDHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia.... and finding ways that work for them as individuals, their current level, finding misconceptions and adapting for the mood on the day.

I chose to tutor full time because I prefer working with individuals, not names on a spreadsheet. I am the teacher you need if you think you are different, shy, awkward or "just don´t get it" My approach to tutoring is to adapt to the student:

• chatty or quiet
• planned breaks
• no video, (even no mic) no problem
• Lots of questions or not
• working alongside school work or target different skills
• homework or not I have over 1000 hours taught one to one, online. I teach Chemistry to A Level and maths and biology to GCSE, all exam boards catered for. Each student gets an individual tracker which shows progress, skills covered and level of mastery. We use our lesson time wisely and keep it interesting
