I'm a King's College London Computer Science graduate and will be starting a Mathematics PGCE at UCL this September. Over the past six years, I've delivered more than 600 hours of one-to-one tuition, helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding and achieve their academic goals.

I tailor every lesson to the individual student. Rather than relying on memorisation, I focus on developing a solid understanding of the underlying concepts so students can tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence. Lessons are supportive, engaging and adapted to each student's learning style, whether they're catching up, preparing for exams or aiming for the highest grades.

Alongside Maths, I also offer Arabic tuition for students looking to develop their reading, writing and speaking skills.

Teaching Experience

Over the years, I've worked with a wide range of students, from those who struggle with confidence in maths to high-achieving students preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams. Most of my experience has been through one-to-one tuition, where I've helped students strengthen their understanding, improve exam technique and close gaps in their knowledge. I regularly use worked examples, exam-style questions and targeted practice to track progress and focus on areas that need the most attention.

Tutoring Approach

Every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit the individual rather than following the same approach for everyone. I focus on building understanding before memorisation, as this helps students tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence. I encourage students to ask questions, work through mistakes and think about why a method works, not just how to use it. My goal is for students to leave each lesson feeling more confident and better equipped to solve problems on their own.
