Hi! I'm Chiara, a history graduate from the University of Oxford, currently training under Teach First to be a History teacher. As is the nature of training with Teach First, I am working as a full time teacher currently whilst completing my training, so I am familiar with challenges!

Before I started teaching in 2025, I have 3 years 1:1 and 2:1 tutoring experience with A-Level History and GCSE Drama. Currently I have extensive experience teaching KS3 and KS4 history, as well as teaching A-Level Politics.

As is the nature of History teaching, my tutees benefit from a high level of challenge and thought-provoking discussion as well as extensive written practice and feedback. I find that my tutees respond well to a combination of both verbal and written feedback, as well as having the opportunity to express themselves and their thoughts. I pride myself on facilitating this environment for them.
