I studied Music as Cambridge, specialising in Mediaeval and 20th Century notation, and then singing at the Royal College of Music. From 2016-2024 I worked as a professional Opera Singer internationally. While I sing a little still, I mainly focus on Music Education, both as a highly sought after private Music tutor and as.a Music Tutor at one of the country’s leading independent schools.

I am a specialist Music tutor with over a decade of experience helping students in person and online.
At A-Level and GCSE, I specialise in the written paper and composition across all boards. In Music Theory I run a speed course to obtain ABRSM Grade 5 theory, and am expert in working with students aiming to achieve ABRSM Grade 8 theory.
At a university level, I work with students on composition, techniques (harmony and counterpoint) and written work.
Thus far, I have a 100% success rate in helping students obtain places for Music at Oxbridge (Cambridge - Kings, Trinity, Jesus | Oxford - Univ, St Anne’s). All GCSE students have achieved a 7 and above, and A-Level an A and above.
Tutoring Approach
I use an exam-paper based format that focuses on providing a method for students to implement on any paper, giving them the ability to control, rather than be controlled by the exam .
My sessions are a minimum of 1hr either weekly or fortnightly (usually in the case of composition), with work usually set once a base level of knowledge has been accrued.
