I am a qualified lecturer with an engineering qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 7 and over 16 years of teaching experience, working with students from primary school through to university level. Teaching is my passion, and I take great pride in helping students develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills they need to achieve their full potential.

I have 15 years of UK tutoring experience. I specialise in Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, and English preparation for the 10+ and 11+ Grammar School Entrance Exams, Primary and Secondary children with to GCSE and A-level. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in core concepts while developing logical reasoning, analytical thinking, vocabulary, comprehension, and effective exam techniques.

I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit the student's individual ability, learning style, and goals. Whether your child is preparing for Independent/Grammar school entrance exams, aiming to improve their school performance in primary or secondary school, or simply needs extra support with challenging topics before GCSE, End of years or SATS, I provide patient, structured, and engaging lessons that encourage steady progress and lasting confidence.

My approach to teaching Mathematics goes beyond memorising formulas. I focus on helping students truly understand the underlying concepts and apply their knowledge to solve problems in a practical and logical way. By building a solid conceptual understanding, students gain the confidence to tackle unfamiliar questions independently and develop a genuine appreciation for the subject.

In addition to exam preparation, I also offer booster sessions for students who may be struggling with particular topics or who need extra support to strengthen their understanding. My aim is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, enjoy learning, and are motivated to achieve their best.
