As a qualified teacher, and having taught professionally for over 30 years, I've had the privilege of nurturing many young children and seen them flourish.

Tutoring children from Reception to Year 4 (and Year 5 where working below expected level) is a great passion of mine, especially when seeing the personal progress they make when feeling confident and competent in their abilities.

I have a natural, intuitive ability to relate to children and adults and to put them at ease. Working with families and not just the child, is an integral ingredient to success.

Highly experienced. Since qualifying in 1995, I have taught Reception to Year 4 in the Maintained and Independent sectors.

For the last 14 years, I have been successfully running my own tutoring business from home. This takes place after school and during holidays within a cheerful dedicated home classroom. Whilst I teach, parents are welcome to wait in the living room and relax or work (internet connection available).

An introductory trial lesson is £55 per hour.

Further lessons are bookable in half term blocks, payable in advance.

1:1 lessons are £55 per hour. Small group lessons (max of 3 children) are £28 per hour.

Each lesson includes a short feedback to parents.

Hour-long sessions are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 3:45-7:15pm.
