I am a student at the University of Oxford studying Japanese. I achieved all A*s and As in my Japanese, Religious Studies, and Latin A-Levels, as well as in all of my GCSEs. I also achieved a distinction in ABRSM grade 8 singing.

My particular area of interest is religion in Classical Japan, combining my background in religious studies, Classical history, and Japanese.

At the University of Oxford, I sing as a Choral Scholar at The Queen's College, where I perform in concerts and services around the world. Beyond my passion for singing, I love playing the piano and the trombone.

I have taught Japanese, Religious Studies, Latin and singing to children and adults of all ages for over 3 years, and I am experienced in supporting students of all levels with independent study. I was home-educated myself and self-studied for all my academic and musical qualifications.

I tutor a wide range of subjects beyond these, and my students have all received top grades at GCSE, A-level and in auditions.

I am devoted to providing clear explanations and encouraging students to develop their full potential in their subjects. I am enthusiastic about helping students achieve their academic goals while creating a fun and engaging classroom environment.

My love for literature, history and language allows me to effectively introduce the cultural, linguistic and literary aspects of humanities courses.

I tailor classes to each student's needs, and am more than happy to help students with goals such as working towards exams, Oxbridge applications and UCAS personal statements.
