Hello, my name is Lisa. I currently teach Mathematics at a local secondary school, ages 11-16. I am a kind, patient and enthusiastic educator, looking for opportunities to help children to increase their confidence and fulfil their potential.

Teaching Experience
I have been teaching Mathematics for nearly 4 years, to KS3 & GCSE students. I thoroughly enjoy the interactions with young people, and can quickly adapt my teaching to suit their needs.
Tutoring Approach
I will provide tailored and structured lessons for your child. This will involve clear explanations, modelled examples and practice questions. Regular work will also be set to ensure successful application, retention and consolidation of knowledge. I value and welcome any feedback from my students and their parents, to ensure I am providing the best support for them.

Lisa is a very patient and organised tutor. She plans lessons well and send notice to parents prior to lessons. She is successful in engaging my child in the online lessons. Homework is given after the lessons.

Lisa proved to be an excellent choice as a tutor for our daughter. We needed to get her up from a grade 4 to a grade 6 for the college courses she wanted to take. Just got her gcse results back on Thursday and she got a 7 which is unbelievable progress in a short space of time. Wouldn’t have been possible without Lisa’s help. Communicates well, dependable and great value for money. All round nice person who was a pleasure to have in our home and developed a good relationship with our daughter which made the sessions much more enjoyable for her.
