I am a very experienced maths teacher who enjoys working with young and older people to support their development in mathematics. I provide support for GCSE and A level Maths.

Teaching Experience
I taught for over 30 years in 3 different secondary schools eventually as a Head of Maths and Deputy Head. I then became a maths education lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University School of Education training secondary maths teachers.
Tutoring Approach
I provide support for learning tailored to individual needs with a focus on understanding and practice. I am always keen to improve student confidence which I think is key to good progress. Analysis of student needs is an important step to providing a guided pathway to success.
