His knowledge, alongside a calm and friendly approach helped improve our daughter's confidence and consolidate her knowledge and abilitity to tackle the higher level GCSE questions. He built sessions around topics she identified as wanting to improve and stretched her learning in a supportive manner. He is an excellent tutor, who is professional and reliable.

We only had one lesson and he was very patient, but my son said it wasn't suitable.

Our son feels that Neil has really helped him improve at maths as a subject. Neil took the time to get an understanding of the areas our son was less happy with, and then helped him to develop his skills so that he felt he could tackle higher level questions and problem solving questions more quickly and with confidence. Neil was able to show and explain ways to break questions down, and as a result our son improved his knowledge of the various topics and was able to answer questions in a more efficient way too.

Excellent tutor. Neil helped to bring my son up to a grade 9 in GCSE maths, from a 6 in his mocks, within five or six sessions. These sessions increased my son's confidence and knowledge and he began working smarter in maths lessons at school. Professional, reliable, highly recommended tutor.

Neil is a very reliable and punctual tutor who has a calm and thorough approach. He helped my daughter a great deal, and she was much less anxious about her exams. Neil also encourages the learner to 'do' rather than telling them what to do which was very helpful in building her confidence and approach. I would recommend Neil without hesitation!
