I’m a tutor based in Clacton-on-Sea with over 12 years of experience in education. I’ve worked in classrooms as an LSA and spent time teaching English abroad in China, which has given me a really practical, adaptable way of working with students. My focus is on being reliable, easy to communicate with, and genuinely invested in the students I work with.

I’ve spent the last 12 years working in different educational environments, ranging from school-based support as an LSA to teaching English and maths in China. Since 2025, I’ve been working as a private tutor, managing my own schedule and building tailored lesson plans for individual students. This ranges from Keystage 2 to GCSE preperation. This background means I'm comfortable working with students of varying needs and am used to the professional standards required to keep parents well-informed.

I think the best learning happens when students are genuinely engaged, so I try to build my lessons around the student's own interests. I work in a very structured way, using a clear, phased approach to lessons so that both the student and their family know exactly what we are aiming for and how we're getting there. Whether we are focusing on exam technique or just building confidence, I like to keep things clear, focused, and purposeful.
