Hi. I'm a professional teacher with 19 years experience. I'm an examiner too as well as an agented writer, too. I'm passionate about words and literature.

I spent 11 years in mainstream schools and the last 9 running my small tuition business in West Yorkshire. I specialise in GCSE, A-level literature and re-sits. I have worked extensively with home educating families.

I have two models.

After school, I teach in small groups for ages 8-16. I ensure that GCSE groups cover the whole AQA English language paper over the year, offer a mock marking service and tailor lessons to the students. I give young people practical solutions so that they are confident in exams. For literature, I cover essay writing skills and have specialised bootcamps in Feb half term and Easter holidays for key texts. Building confidence is the key to success here.

During the day, I offer 121 for home educated students, A-level and international students. Here, I can either work alongside schools and colleges and help with essay writing/ confidence and knowledge OR I can get through the GCSE/iGCSE/ A-level process from start to finish.
