Excellent tutor. Very friendly and put my daughter at ease very quickly. I was supprised how quickly my daughter was reading the Korean symbols. Very patient, knowledgeable tutor. Heeyoung took time to not only teach her core lessons but understood why my daughter wanted to learn the language so linked that in to lessons to make it more relevant. I can not recommend Heeyoung enough - she is an amazing tutor .

Heeyoung has been teaching my daughter (in her early teens) for several months now. Classes are going really well covering written and spoken Korean and advancing at a good pace. Heeyoung is patient, encouraging and friendly and my daughter is really happy with the classes. Written material and homework provided is great and there is a sense of real progress already. All my dealings with Heeyoung to schedule classes and organise payment have been very easy and responsible. We would strongly recommend her as a teacher.

I don't have much feedback to give other than that I found that lessons so helpful! I feel like it's well-tailored for the sort of Korean I want to learn and what I want to use it for (travel) and the lesson content is always very thorough and well explained to me. Always super patient and always so polite and nice when correcting mistakes and I never feel uncomfortable when before I was self-conscious of my pronunciations. These lessons have been such good help so far and I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn Korean!

Heeyoung is a stellar tutor, learning a new language is a daunting task for anyone but with Heeyoung you will find yourself looking forward to every lesson. She provides excellent resources and guidance as you learn, and a good sense of humour to boot! I would wholeheartedly reccomend her to anyone looking to learn Korean.

Heeyoung is a teacher who is patient, diligent and charismatic and is a real pleasure to learn under. I am incredibly happy that I found her and I am very happy with my progress over the past 4 months! Our lessons are always enjoyable and she is always enthusiastic which is incredibly motivational to me as a learner! She also provides a lot of insight into Korean culture and life which helps me to understand the reasoning behind different complexities within the Korean language. The documents that she uses to teach with are highly detailed, easy to understand and filled with practical information, in the classes we relate her material to things that I am interested in learning as well which provides me with the useful, practical knowledge that I want. Her explanations are always concise, simple and easy to understand + when combined with her humour the lesson goes by way too quickly! We often find ourselves going over the scheduled time because she always like to make sure that I understand and am happy with everything. She is always available outside of the lessons for when I need to ask her anything, She is a brilliant, relaxed teacher and my words cannot do her justice.
