Did not proceed in having sessions for my son however first and very brief interaction it was evident there was no rapport. I do appreciate teaching policies from tutors and fully respect this, however I fell uncomfortable and especially in the way it was phrased, and in manner “this is my way, or find another tutor”. So, this is what I did.

When explaining my payment structure and teaching policy, I was simply outlining the framework I apply consistently to all families to ensure clarity and fairness. It was certainly not my intention to convey a “take it or leave it” approach. I fully understand that different tutors operate differently, and I respect your decision to proceed with someone whose arrangements felt like a better fit for you. I wish your son the very best with his studies.

Eleni is a fantastic tutor! English was my son’s weakest subject but with her support he improved very quickly within a short period of time. Eleni ensured my son was able to secure a place at an independent school by passing his 13 plus exams. I would highly recommend her.
Eleni has made a great start with our daughter's English tuition, gaining her confidence very quickly, despite this being via zoom. I can see that Eleni has a very engaging and warm style as a tutor, and our daughters confidence has already grown in just a few sessions.

Eleni is a lovely teacher with a positive attitude to help get you motivated and looking forward to the next lesson. She is very structured and prepared in her teaching, going out of her way to provide 'take away' mp3 audio dialogs of common conversation, as well as scans of text books and links for popular Greek lyrical music. All to help with revision and initiation into Greek culture. Zivania! She is also very accommodating in her availability which fits around my working pattern and always communicates in good time if there are any changes or upcoming lessons to remind you. I am quite a shy person/speaker, but I find myself to be getting ever more comfortable in sessions with Eleni, which I'm sure will build my confidence to read and to speak in Greek one day. I would highly recommend Eleni.
