I am a postgraduate tutor teaching guitar, piano, violin/fiddle, ukelele, kids rap vocals and drum kit. I teach popular styles-pop, blues, rock, folk, jazz, hip hop, classical etc and also music theory-popular, jazz and classical. I teach individualIy and in groups including in schools. I have played in many varied ensembles and bands and currently rap.

I have some training in disability and have worked with 'special needs' students in a Camphill Rudolf Steiner school. I teach left handed if required. I am qualified in childcare and completed a music degree, education pathway, followed by an M.A. in Popular Music, at Kingston University.

I have a holistic approach to tutoring, am flexible and can help students with pieces of their own choice, working at their own pace. I can help with theory, performance and exams. I ensure that my pupils are well prepared for all aspects of their exams if they choose to take them, and I also endeavour to help my pupils with posture and technique which is a pre-requisite for success.

I offer discounted lessons to students, OAPs and UC recipients, and group lessons are available with price on a sliding scale from £5-£10 (45 minutes).

I maintain a strong dialogue with parents regarding their children's h/w, aims and achievements and am a mother of two boys.
