Friendly and enthusiastic tutor

All good. So far we've had a great experience with Marion and are happy with the lessons.

For personal reasons I have had to put lessons on hold so I only had a few sessions with Marion so I can only give you limited feedback. What I appreciated about Marion is that firstly she is very warm, supportive teacher and wants the best for the pupil. In my case we were not sure about whether I should aim for grade 3 or 4 and I liked the way Marion discussed this and was so affirming.

Marion is very knowledge about the guitar, including different playing styles and exam board requirements for the grading systems run by ABRSM and Trinity. She is a patient teacher and makes the experience enjoyable.

I'm very happy with Marion's teaching method. She took the time to figure out what style I'd like to learn and recommended the book we could start with. I was able to start reading the music of the sheets after only 3 classes with her. I enjoy our violin sessions of playing together, there's still much to learn but she makes it seem very easy.

Marion is an excellent tutor. Incredibly knowledgeable in both the theory and practical elements of learning to play guitar. We started from not being able to play at all and Marion methodically took us through a lot of the basic techniques and concepts of the instrument. Very accommodating in terms of song choices too. Marion clearly knows her stuff and would work equally well for beginners but also for more experienced players.

Marion is teaching my 4year old, she has totally engaged her, which four a four-year-old is very difficult for her to sit still.Will recommend

My daughter has only had a few lesson with Marion but is really enjoying them! she is delighted she is learning new skills and improving on guitar. She looks forward to her lessons!

Marion is a great tutor, she is very patient and made learning fun and enjoyable for my 7 year old son.

She has been great, i am learning and practicing more than i have for a long time just by having her come by once a week. Marion has been patient with me and been very helpful, i am thinking very doing the grading system because of the help Marion has given me. I cant think of much more to say other than this was a good (if not great) descion to ask Marion to be my tutor.
