My 8 year old son has been having piano lessons with Karim for 6 weeks now and it couldn’t have gone better. My son relates really well to Karim, who has a calm yet fun manner. The stand out for me is the introduction of composition into the middle of each lesson. They share ideas, my son is given help to build on them, shown how to note them down. And he seems to be making great progress with the piano playing. He is being taught correct technique but always with a dose of creativity - how could he change the sound through dynamics or tempo or whatever. Karim is the creative, engaging teacher we were hoping for.

Karim is such an amazing piano teacher! When I used to take piano classes when I was younger it was very robotic - following music and scales etc. But with Karim he helps me truly understand how music works and how to create my own music in the future. It's really nice to feel like I have autonomy over what I play and that I understand how sequences and melodies work! I would hoghly recommend Karim to anyone! He has such an amazing and supportive energy and I couldn't ask for a better piano teacher!
