Simon explained the area of mechanical principles that I was struggling with very clearly. He made sure the basics were covered before moving on to the area that I needed with. Having the basics firmly re-enforce made the area that I needed help with easier to understand.

Simon has been a good tutor, my daughter has been able to understand Maths topics she was struggling with.

From our perspective, the decision to discontinue was based on suitability rather than capability. My son, David, felt that the teaching style was not the best fit for his learning needs at that particular stage. As every student learns differently, we felt he would benefit from a different approach. Mr appeared professional and may be well suited to other students. Our experience reflects a brief tutoring period of 2 sessions and a matter of personal fit rather than any broader judgement of his abilities.

Simon has been an invaluable help to my son who is in his first year of university studying engineering. He made himself available at short notice to help over the holidays in advance of exams that were looming and was always prepared with topics in advance and helped by giving extra work to study in between sessions.
