Juan is excellent - only after a few lessons we knew he was perfect for us.

I have had weekly 1-on-1 Zoom classes with Juan for the past 6 months and in every one of these classes it has been clear that Juan loves being a teacher and to teach Spanish. He is professional and friendly, and always explains things in a way that is easy for me to understand. His classes have a good structure and I find it really helpful the way that he explains things on screen and provides class notes. My Spanish has really come along since I started the lessons, and I have also learnt lots about Spain and Spanish culture. Always professional - he always starts class on time and has never cancelled a lesson. He is an excellent teacher that I would 100% recommend.

Juan has really helped my son to improve his Junior Cert Spanish with weekly practice. Juan is very patient has a positive outlook. In class he revises the new material Eoin has done in school and revises older material to help my son retain the material long term. She is very happy with the classes - Juan is very helpful, prepares well for the classes and keeps it interesting. The classes are online and this has worked out very well - it has been very easy to schedule the classes and any changes were easily accommodated by Juan. Juan is a brilliant teacher, he has been amazing at helping me improve my Spanish in my final year of university. Classes are catered to his students needs, everything is explained thoroughly. Questions are always encouraged! The classes have been fun and extremely beneficial. His classes helped me feel more confident about my final exams! We have only had Juan for a few sessions but my son seems engaged so far. He gets on well with him and explains the methodology of the teaching. I like that it’s at a slow pace as opposed to the fast paced there is at school. I want my son not to feel so overwhelmed with a subject he’s struggling with and so far he’s pleased with Juan’s approach. We are happy to continue with Juan until my son feels he’s on top and is understanding it really well.

Very good tutor, my daughter is in sixth year and the weekly class is helping her a lot. She says the hour is well structured and the homework she completes is fully reviewed too.

Juan is currently teaching my daughter Spanish in 4th year and preparing her to sit her exams in leaving cert. My daughter has only started picking up the language therefore it was very important to choose a native speaker that understands the leaving cert curriculum.
